We have first hand experience of leading small group tours in Turkey and travel extensively to search for unusual accommodation and aspects of Turkish life rarely seen by visitors on organized tours.

We can tailor make a private tour for individuals or small groups with special interests such as hiking, history, rural farming, traditional Turkish arts and crafts, or Turkish cuisine to name but a few. Our guides, carefully selected to match the age, composition and interests of your group, are well educated and qualified in Turkish history and archaeology. They also have a thorough knowledge of the country's culture and traditions. As far as possible routes are 'off the beaten track ' to give you glimpses of traditional agricultural methods and rural customs. We don't believe in racing to see historical sites, our tours are balanced to give you time to digest information.

Transportation is by comfortable air conditioned vehicle with plenty of space for luggage, and spare seats to spread out. We take as much care in selecting our drivers as we do our guides, they are friendly, careful and considerate.

Our preference is for smaller 'boutique' hotels with character. With no sacrifice to comfort and quality our guests have stayed in a Pasha's bedroom complete with Turkish bath, a cave dwelling in Central Anatolia and an Ottoman mansion overlooking the Mediterranean.

Our custom designed itineraries have included the fabulous mosques, churches, palaces and waterways of Istanbul, the bizarre surreal landscape of Cappadocia with its underground cities and rock hewn churches, Turkey's most well known ancient site of Ephesus, the 4th Century Lycian rock tombs and breeding ground of the Loggerhead turtle at Dalyan and many more sites of both historical and cultural interest. Where distances are too great for travel by road we will include domestic flights.
